If you are from a third country and want to work in Luxembourg for more than three months, you need to follow these two steps:

  1. Before Entering the Country:
    • Apply for temporary authorization to stay. (The employer usually does this step).
    • You can get a type D visa at the Luxembourg embassy or consulate in your home country that is closest to you.
  2. After entering Luxemburg:
    • file a declaration of arrival within 3 days of arrival.
    • Go through Medical Checkup
    • Then, ask for a residence permit for seasonal workers from a third country.
