Job Responsibilities:

As a Quality Assurance Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting and repairing furniture upholstery, including burn-ins, wood misting, and clear finishes.
  • Ensuring quality control for next-day residential deliveries.
  • Color-matching finishes and applying sealers and top coatings according to vendor specifications.
  • Repairing timber defects, touch-ups, and surface coatings using lacquers, burn-in sticks, and polishing tools.
  • Maintaining an organized workspace and inventory of repair materials.
  • Collaborating with teams to assemble and stage furniture before delivery.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in furniture assembly or related craftsmanship.
  • Strong attention to detail, defect identification, and multitasking.

Preferred:

  • Experience in timber repair, painting, or woodcraft.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Willingness to complete furniture repair skills assessments during the hiring process.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing and walking 90% of the workday.
